ايطالي الجنسية من مدينة Florence ولد عام 1426 توفي عام 1499
عمل في التصوير الجصي ويملك بعض الأعمال على الزجاج الملون والفسيفساء
يظهر على اسلوبه بالرسم تأثير كل من Domenico Veneziano الذي كان نشيط فيFlorence عام 1439
وتأثير Piero della Francesca والذي كان ايضا تلميذ ل Veneziano .

Baldovinetti came from a wealthy
Florentine family. As well as painting
on panel and in fresco, he worked in
stained glass and mosaic.
His style is marked by the influence
of > Domenico Veneziano, who was
active in Florence from 1439 to 1445.
As a painter Baldovinetti also shows an
affinity with > Piero della Francesca,
who was also a pupil of Domenico
Veneziano at that time.

رسمت حوالي عام 1465
الاطار الأصلي مصنوع من الخشب ابعاده ( 62.9 × 40.6 ) سنتمتر .
كان هذا النوع من الرسم مستعمل كثيرا ومرغوبب جدا من قبل الرسامين الاوائل في عصر النهضة .
اللوحة فيه كثير من التضارب والكثير من التفاصيل يجدر الوقوف عنها
فهي تصور امراءة من أسها حتى خصرها
على ردائها يوجد شكل شجرة
استدل من هذا الشكل على ان اللوحة تمثل " راعية او مربية اطفال "
الشجرة هذه الأقرب إلى النخلة تمتلك ثلاثة اوراق وليس هذه للزينة بل تم تفسير الورقات الثلاثة
على انها اداة او شعار لعائلتها او من انها تزوجت من احد الأشخاص رمز عائلته هذا الشكل مما يدل على انها امرأة فرنسية الأصل
كون الفرنسيون اعتمدوا على تبني شعارات ورموز لعائلاتهم .

The profile was used by many
painters of the Early *Renaissance
in their portraits. Baldovinetti’s
representation of a lady in yellow
is one of the most striking of such
designs, showing the sitter almost
to the waist. Stitched to her sleeve is
a device of three palm leaves which
is probably not a merely decorative
pattern but the device or emblem
of her family or of one into which
she has married (or is soon to marry).
