Again Dear friend,
You are repeating the same mistake.
You are saying that poor people are unaware of the fact that psychiatric diseases are just like any other disease. And that depression/suicide are higher in poor.

Let's start with easier: You can not predict that suicide is higher among poor depending only on what you think. You are being subjective not objective
You need to do a study to know that.
Other nations (both poor and rich nations) did that study and found that suicide is commoner among high socioeconomic level than low socioeconomic level.
For depression, probably it is much common in poor people.

Now moving to the second point:
You divided the society into poor and non-poor which will make it easier for me to discuss. Do you think here non-poor are aware of the importance of psychiatric medicine?
Can you tell me how many non-poor you know that they are under treatment for depression.
I am quite sure that the answer will be one if none.
Even the non-poor in our society look at psychiatric disease as bad stigmata.
The problem is not unique to poor it is universal but the difference between our society and other advanced societies is the following
there if someone does not seek treatment for depression, he or she does that because she/he is poor and can not afford treatment for depression which is by the way very expensive, not because he or she is ashamed of it.
While in our developing close-minded society everyone (including poor and non-poor) is ashamed of being labeled as a mad man who sees a doctor for his/her "madness".
I hope I made my point clear
