I guess, u all know the story of narcissus (the flower), but Oscar Hemmingway retold it in another way:
After Narcissus had drowned in the river, in which he looked at himself while he was fond of his own beauty, the nymphs came 2 the river crying, the loved beautiful Narcissus had drowned.
Nymphs told the river that Narcissus died. River had started crying immediately.
Nymphs started speaking about the beauty of Narcissus, the thing which made River wondering:
Narcissus was beautiful?
Nymphs said: yes, he was!, why are u crying, if u don’t know whether he was beautiful?, it means that u did not love him!.
River said: I didn’t know that he was beautiful, but I loved him, cause in his eyes I could watch my own beauty!.

بعتقد انو كلنا منعرف قصة " نيرسيس " ( الوردة ) ، بس اوسكار همنغواي اعاد صياغتها بطريقة مختلفة:

قام قلها النهر: " ما كنت بعرف انو نيرسيس حليوة، بس كنت حبو كتير، لأنو كنت شوف بعيونو انعكاس لجمالي
